DENSITY Noir and Boost Tip: What Changed, and What Should You Confirm?

If you have seen “DENSITY Noir” and “Boost Tip” mentioned together, it is easy to assume they name the same thing. They do not. Noir is the name of a newer DENSITY radiofrequency (RF) device; Boost is a newly introduced treatment tip. That distinction matters when you ask what a clinic actually has, which functions are available and whether a particular tip is part of your proposed plan.

In brief: Manufacturer Jeisys Medical describes DENSITY Noir as the successor to DENSITY High, with changes to the DCD cooling system and two operating modes. Boost Tip is the first bipolar-only tip in the DENSITY lineup. A clinic's device model, installed software and available genuine tips are separate questions. Ask the clinic to confirm all three before choosing a visit.

What is new about DENSITY Noir?

In its September 2026 announcement, Jeisys Medical calls Noir the successor to DENSITY High. It says the DCD cooling system was improved and names two new operating modes. Gentle Mode lets the operator choose an operating condition relating to how firmly the tip is pressed before RF output. Infinity Mode supports continuous delivery of the selected treatment level. These are descriptions of functions, not a prediction of what an individual will see after treatment.

A manufacturer announcement about a new device is not, by itself, a compatibility certificate for every earlier unit. The exterior model name, installed software and tip supply should be checked separately. In particular, a software change alone does not prove that all components of two device models are identical.

How is Boost Tip different from the earlier tips?

The manufacturer's distinction is the way RF energy is delivered. Monopolar and bipolar describe different electrode paths, not a simple ranking of “stronger” and “weaker”. The appropriate choice depends on the device, available tip and the clinician's assessment.

Tip named by JeisysRF delivery describedWhat to ask
ClassicMonopolarWhy would this tip fit my plan?
High or AlphaMonopolar and bipolarWhich tip and area are being proposed?
BoostBipolar onlyIs the genuine tip available with this unit, and when?

A Jeisys educational presentation supplied to the clinic describes Boost as a design focused on the more superficial dermal region, roughly 1 to 2 mm, rather than a replacement for every other tip. That is a design description, not a guarantee that a certain layer is treated identically in every person or that a particular cosmetic result follows. A photo of an existing DENSITY device cannot establish which tip or software is being used.

What is Beauty Blossom Clinic's update plan?

Beauty Blossom Clinic currently provides consultations for DENSITY RF. As of 6 October 2026, the clinic has said it plans a manufacturer-led software update to its existing DENSITY unit during the week of 5 October 2026. Completion has not yet been confirmed. The update's completion, the functions enabled on that specific unit and the date on which a genuine Boost Tip can be used should be confirmed with the clinic before booking a treatment. This article does not say a Noir-branded device has been installed, that an update is already complete or that two device models produce identical results.

Ask the clinic: “Which DENSITY model is in use? Has the manufacturer's update been completed for this unit? Which genuine tips and modes are currently available for my visit?” The answers should reflect the equipment and stock on your actual appointment date.

Does the tip name decide the treatment result?

No. The name alone says neither whether a treatment is suitable for you nor how your skin will respond. At a consultation, tell the clinician which area concerns you, what you have previously received and what you hope to understand. Ask which tip would be considered, whether another option is more appropriate and how the plan would be reviewed. The clinician may decide that a proposed RF treatment is not suitable after examining your skin and medical history.

Important: RF treatment uses heat. Redness, swelling, discomfort or warmth may occur, and individual response varies. Discuss relevant conditions and medications, expected sensations, aftercare and when to contact the clinic before deciding. Neither the Noir name nor a Boost Tip can guarantee an outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Is Boost Tip the same thing as a Noir device?

No. Noir names a newer DENSITY device model; Boost names a bipolar-only treatment tip. Confirm model, software and tip availability separately.

Can an existing DENSITY unit become exactly the same as Noir through software alone?

The manufacturer's public release does not state that every older unit becomes identical to Noir by software update. Ask about the exact unit and the manufacturer's confirmed update scope. Do not treat a shared treatment name as proof of identical hardware or outcomes.

Can I book a Boost Tip session at Beauty Blossom Clinic today?

You can request a consultation. Because the clinic's update and tip availability are being confirmed, ask the team to verify the current service start date before requesting a specific tip treatment.
